For these two I used Chrono Watch from Grab Cad http://grabcad.com/library/chrono-watch#_=_.
The first I call Fields of time. I took the watch, threw away the base, and the lens. And modified it in 123D make. From there I textured and "To display his eternal attributes in their inexhaustible variety, the Lord made the green fields of time and space." comes to mind.
The second I call "Continuum". Same watch, no base or lens. Took it into Sculptris and warped it. Joining black holes as the only two forces known to bend space time.
Wanted to take a more surrealist approach.
I like the concepts. The material makes some of the details difficult to see but cool idea. Nice to hear how you modified the models as well.
Now that's thinking out of the box.

Not keen on the second one, but the concept of the first is pretty cool IMO :)
