hello,

I have often said in my posts, be a professor of design and cad.
You have decided to establish, in addition to the two categories of competition began, a Student category for this contest.

You have declared winner in this category.

Can you please, give the community an explanation of your choice and selection of your decision?
Your decision, I respect, I created some problems and they accuse me of cheating despite myself.
Cordially.

What constitutes a student entry? I am a student but am currently working toward a liberal arts degree before moving to my BSME.

Ooooo I'm a student  :)

Third year Industrial Design at Carleton University. Seeing as I'm using the educational version you should have a copy of my student ID kicking around on a server somewhere. I had entries for both rendering and animation:

Ok, we would like to thank all the students that entered the contest! Definitely look through all the talent. Once again it was difficult to pick a winner. The votes are in and the winner for the student entry is Kyle Lunau!

You can see his entries here (http://keyshot.com/forum/index.php/topic,3962.0.html) and here (http://keyshot.com/forum/index.php/topic,3951.0.html).

Kyle produced an animation and renderings that, while heavy on the bump map, provide a creative approach to presenting the watch design. Very nice Kyle!

Keep up the great renderings everyone and stay tuned for the next contest that's just around the corner!

Nice! I'm pretty pleased about that.

Maybe it was mentioned on another page and I missed it, but do the student winners get Keyshot 3 Pro licenses? Or were those just for the overall best rendering and animation?
