I've been playing with the emissive materials in 2.0 - are these much/any different from the old 'hack' some of us have been using to get lights into older scenes?
I was kind of hoping that Keyshot 2 would come with a .bip of the Keyshot logo on the main page. I love the way that glow pops out from behind the logo badge and have always thought it would be a great starter .bip to familiarize users with some of the new features.

Yes - they are. To get the full effect please make sure you enable "detailed indirect illumination" in the realtime tab.
I guess we could provide the scene. Brian will upload here shortly. Check the download section.
