Title: Combining camera animations together
Post by: samfisher on February 24, 2013, 11:35:55 PM
I've recently started using Keyshot for rendering Pro/E models. I'm trying to add camera animations for more than one camera. I want all the animations to appear together in the timeline, but it seems that only animations for the active camera appear in the timeline as well as in the final output. Is there a way to put all animations in one timeline?

There is currently no way of doing this.

Is there any plan of introducing this feature?
I understand that Keyshot solely uses the processor's computational power to render models. I want to know whether in future, an option for using GPU along with the CPU can be available.

yes we are looking into adding this kind of capability.

At this point in time we have no intentions to port our algorithms to be used by the GPU. The algorithms that make KeyShot fast do not map well to GPUs. We have made a GPU implementation internally, but it was too limited and it only ran on certain types of graphics cards.
