Title: On importing SW2012 into Keyshot 2: "Invalid Data"
Post by: cash68 on February 28, 2013, 11:43:42 AM
I am using hte plugin for SW2012, from within SW, hit render, and keyshot opens, then "Invalid data in file".   I hit okay, then nothing.  Help?

Yes, I believe so.  How do I check what plugin it is?

This is the latest plugin that works with KeyShot 2: http://www.keyshot.com/install/plugins/solidworks/keyshot2_solidworks_plugin_1.4.exe

Why did you guys remove the plugins from your website?  When I go to plugins, the plugins for Keyshot 2 aren't even available anymore.  ???

http://keyshot.com/downloads/plugins/

I love using your program, and cutting continuing support for the newest versions of solidworks, sure, I get it, but making the plugins you had already created no longer available to your users?  I had to do a fresh install the other day, and I went to your website and found it gone.  Luckily I had backed up the plugin on my server, or I'd have been SOL.

Kind of a dick move, guys.  :|

We are no longer officially supporting the plugin for KeyShot 2, that's why we removed them. We will add them to the "previous downloads" page, though.
