I'm a Star Wars fan and a 3D designer. As every fan, I was watching the classic trilogy again and started wondering what could have happened to all those Troopers that didn't die on the explosion of the Death Star.
The first photo I made was a reference to the American Beauty movie poster and, then, some friends started asking me to do some more. This is how the Retired Troopers were born. All the photos were taken with an IPhone 4, without using the Photoshop. Sometimes I just used an Instagram filter. All the scenarios and costumes were produced using paper, pencil, pens, glue and a lot of patience!
As time passed by, I decided to put together my job and my hobby, and started to make 3D illustrations of the Retired Troopers. www.fb.com/retiredtroopers
