Title: Lable transparency I got black instead of transparent
Post by: dparcell87 on August 12, 2014, 09:09:21 PM
Hello, realize there is a similar topic on this and I still cannot figure out why everytime I want to import my PNG into keyshot which is a logo that I want to just show up as white,     I get a black background which is not what I need.   Just need to slap this white logo onto the dark colored 3d model .      And yes I do have the setting in PS to   8bit.      I attached the file and any help is appreciated. Thanks

When I'm creating mine, I typically use the export for web setting and use 24 bit. It works great for me.

Make sure your image is saved in RGB format and that the png is just the white logo with no background. This will then save as a png with an alpha channel which Keyshot will use.

Yep that was what I was doing wrong I had it set to greyscale instead of RGB . works fine now.  Hate it when lil mundane details like that can slow down you workflow. thanks guys
