Title: Lighting issue on an old-school sound level meter
Post by: prodzign on August 26, 2014, 05:31:57 PM
I'm currently working on a project that incorporates an "old-school" sound level needle meter that I am trying to light from the inside,
but am having terrible difficulty getting it to look even close to accurate.

I tried emissive material lighting, but it's just not right.

The goal is to get the low, soft warm glow of an old sound level meter.
its not a large area that I need to light... at all, and maybe that's what is holding me back.

Any suggestions as to what to try other than emissive to get that soft warm glow?
