Found this amazing model on GrabCad. I think the Matte Black, on Gloss Black is my favorite.

Well, how chrome looks is heavily down to the environment that it is reflecting... So my advice to you would be to choose an interesting environment and rotate it until you find something that is pleasing to the eye. For me chrome can never look 'wrong', just dull and boring sometimes...

I've knocked up a few examples, some using my own HDR's - and a couple using environments that ship with KS. The third one is archetypal chrome in my book, using an HDRI exterior (shipped with KS), the last one again uses an HDRI exterior that was sourced from sIBL (Barcelona Rooftops) - The other three are studio HDRI's

Thanks for the tips on that! I really like the 3rd one with the scratches, looks great!

Have you ever attempted to make a "burnt" titanium or burnt chrome look on the bends?
