Any plans to support importing VRML files ?

I'm doing more and more PCB design using KiCAD which can render PCBs complete with components in 3D. However, their export formats are currently limited to VRML.

Is there any plans for Keyshot to support importing VRML files?

I think KiCAD are looking to support STEP data output in the future, but until then, I've not had much succes, I've tried going through Creo or other intermediary programs and whilst they can import the VRML, when I save it to another format that is normally supported by KS, it doesn't work.
