Hello everyone  :),

is there a possibility to change a single part of an assembly, that has already been animated and given properties without losing them?

Thanks in advance

I don´t think this is possible, but maybe I can be proved wrong ...
I think your best way would be, to import the new part and than copy the animations from your old part across.
you do not have to make the animations new, but you can copy an animation and apply it to another part!
hope that helped!

The animation has to be defined to the group instead the part. Then the update would keep the definition.

I think that this work. I tried it a few month ago.

Yeah, I did it that way too and think that, by now, this is the only possibility to keep animations/ colouring etc.
Will know better for next time, that it's clearly better to insert the right parts from beginning.
Thank your for your answer!
