Hi guys.
I wanted to try to make a product commercial kinda video using KeyShot, mainly to gain experience in creating animations, manage many clips, stitch them together and do some post processing on moving images.

Found this nice model of the Lean Table Lamp by Tom Dixon and gave it a go.
Check out the result here:

Although I'm not 100% happy with some of the clips I feel like moving on to a new project now.
I have spend enough hours on this already :)

Rendered with KeyShot5 and post produced in Premiere Pro and After Effects.
What do you think?

For the ones interested in the setup details you can have the .ksp here:

Simply gorgeous. I like the use of DoF, which I think works despite it being a bit grainy in its extreme values. The flare is added post I reckon? Is it much else you do when post-processing animations such as this?

Superb! You should 100% satisfied with the result, bro.  :D

Glad you think it works despite the graininess. That's one of the thing that I'm not totally satisfied with. It's okay, but could have been way better. I just didn't have the patience to let it render for a longer time. Animations are time consuming :)

Flare, glow, dust particles in two of the clips and some minor color grading is done post.

Tell me about it.. I've got a couple of 2-3second animations where I used DoF on 4.5 quality. Think they took a couple of weeks each to render:p Haven't got the patience nor the time to wait for more. Guess that's the moments where a farm could be useful.

I really like it. Makes a huge difference on the last finish. Hope I get the chance to learn those techniques:)
