Pattern testing with displacement and rotation

This scene for whatever reason won't render so had to let it cook in the live preview for about 30 minutes whilst i did other things, the scene has been forwarded for testing.

When you say 'Displacement'... is there something I don't know ?

Ha ha - doubt it J, it's under the pattern scattering option to add some displacement between the objects, not to the underlying mesh

hehe I wondered as well....but then no it wasnt the kind of displacement that I would love to have in KS....sigh :)

Yes Marco, Displacement would be amazing, I'm wondering somehow if they could implement it and have the GPU take care of the calculations, thereby not overburdening the CPU...
