How did you get it to looks so real?
Did you do any post work?

My "Tips" are, be consistent with the scale references, on this case the ground bump, its height and size, needs the be adjusted as the real scale of a ring, that enhance the sense of reality of the shoot. Set up a good the depth of field, always adds scale feeling to the scene. And third, avoid unreal and perfect surfaces, I mean real things has imperfections, so play with some bump textures to add more real imperfections to the model. Hope be useful!  ;)

I used a custom oxidized silver material, you can find it on the Keyshot Cloud as "Oxidized Silver"

About how to improve you render, from my personal point of view, try to increase the Ray Bounces onthe scene, to achieve a more reallistic finishing of the stone, which is the focus point of the render, metal looks very good ;)
