Rendering depth passes while the camera is inside of an object.

Hi!

I noticed something mildly off putting:
I can't put a bunch of stuff and my camera inside of an object, a cube  or sphere for example, render it, and get useable depth passes. They come out pure white for some reason, I suppose because the depth is being eaten by the surrounding object(s).
Is it possible to make it so that when the camera is inside of something it will ignore that object completely and render depth passes for the objects inside only? or give depth passes for the inside of the object AD the stuff in it, I think that would actually be better.

Cheers!
