KeyShot 5 import error: Does not contain 3d geometery.

Using:
Solidowrks 2015
Keyshot 5.0
Windows 7 Professional

When I try to import a part into KeyShot from Solidworks  I get the "does not contain 3D geometery" message. I have a work around importing it as a STEP file(which works) but I then cant quickly add materials to the different surfaces like I would like to do. Help please.

As an update I have been trying to import old files that imported correctly before the most recent update and they are also not working, does anybody have a good suggestions.

Hello NiallRedmond,

Solidworks 2015 is supported from KeyShot 5.2 or newer.
Since you run KeyShot 5.0 that might be the cause.
Please update to the latest version(KeyShot 5.3.6) and try again.
