Tried to match the lighting with a background but found it very challenging to get everything in harmony and to try no make it look flat / dull. Comments / remarks always welcome

hi...is not bad..i like it...but i see some strange light on the low rear "Queue"..

Just based on the light rays and the tree shadows, I'd say the majority of that dino would be shadowed. Try going through the HDRI editor, drop the brightness and start with adding some highlights.
