I've noticed an issue lately with some models I import where "snap to ground" doesn't snap the object to the ground, but lifts it above the ground a bit.

This model is a random model I downloaded off grabcad as an igs.  Imported using the "keep original" location (although that doesn't seem to make a difference), and added a matte white material to a ground plane.  When I click snap to ground, it lifts the model above the ground, and I have to adjust it back down manually.  Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

If you are on KeyShot Pro you may want to open up the geometry editor and look at the bounding box of the object.
