I've wanted to render a classic car for a while, so, well, I did :)

Model from CGTrader with additional UV mapping on bumpers and tyres

All textures were sourced from Poliigon https://poliigon.com/

Slight curves adjustment in photoshop and addition of light hits

Great results man ! Are you using overlays as roughness textures in both the paint and chrome ? Both materials look awesome.

Despot

Thanks Nicolas, yes, that's right, roughness maps were used on the paint material as well as a very, very slight bump.  A blend of roughness maps (circular scratches/water marks) were used on the the chrome.

Fantastic texture detail and sense of realism, especially when viewed full rez. Your meticulous attention to the minutiae of reality is clearly evident.  Simply beautiful.

Well, simply put- this is truly stunning work!  At monitor size, they look like a 10 point winner at Pebble Beach.  But at full resolution, the surfacing is simply amazing!  Looks like what's called in the collector world as a "Perfect Survivor".

Great job!
