maya pfx to KS

hey guys,

been testing out some stuff with maya plug in and wanting to take advantage of maya pfx to do some hair in KS. I just notice though that
once the data is push via plugin to KS appears to be not have normals information and it just renders 'faceted'.
Would it be an easy update to see the pfx geo shaded as in maya viewport?

strange...even if in the setting panel ...smooth curve was ticked on
the first time geometry was sent to KS it rendered faceted, as soon as i played with the curve radius parameter then it started render properly :)
oh well :)

any suggestion though, shading wise, how to get pfx hair to render like proper hair?
