Hello!

It's been a while since I posted anything on the forum. After long break from 3D modeling and rendering I decided to come back and create something new. Today I would like to present you my latest work - astrolabe watch concept. Designed and modeled in 3ds Max and obviously rendered in Keyshot. Postproduction was done in Photoshop.

Big thanks to Andrea Chiampo, Esben Oxholm and Florian Benedetto for critics!

These are really fantastic. The close-up is awesome. The only things that I would point out are that the crystal could possibly use a bit more of some kind of sharp reflective indication that there is actually glass there, and the band could possibly use a bit of highlighting on the inside; it's getting lost in the dark background. Also, not to nit pick, but February is misspelled :) Just my humble 2 cents...

Cheers,

The close up is a jawdroper!!! Awesome renderings tempe!

The IIII instead of the IV is a really common feature on classic (and classy!) watches, good detail there!

Thanks for that info, Nico...I stand humbly corrected  :-[...and have obviously never owned a watch of this caliber :)

Being a watch freak, I think this is fantastic!  All it needs now is a complex orrery!
