Im planning on building a nice small workstation using the   asrock x99e-itx/ac  mini itx mother board.Im going to put probably a E5-2690 v4 or a i7-6950x and 2x32gb modules of ram.Since its only dual channel memory,im not sure if this + the selected CPUs is going to hurt perfomance in keyshot or not.
(on the other hand do you think there is much difference in performance between the two selected cpus?)

Can anyone explain if possible
Cheers

KeyShot performance is dictated by the number of cores / threads you have. The E5-2690 v4 has 28 threads @ 2.6GHZ while the i7-6950x has 20 threads @ 3.0GHZ. Taking all this into account, and considering the near linear performance scale of KeyShot, KeyShot will run about 30% faster on the E5-2690 v4.

Thanks.I know kyshot is determined by the cpu.I was just wandering if the dual channel memory coud criple a litle the cpu and then this reflect in a performance drop. This question is probably more suited for the forum of the motherboard.
