Why doesn't KeyShot have ColorHex tool just like any CG software? I'm tired of typing the R, G and B values to import a color -_-

I'm guessing you're asking why can't you type in HEX code #s as an input for color? If so, it is definitely a missing feature, but in comparison to some other CG software, Keyshot actually has some awesome color selection options. In the meantime, could you use the color picker to achieve what you want. It's the eyedropper tool in the top-left. Whether or not it is accurate, I haven't done any tests myself against any RGB values, but for quick color selection, it works great.

Hope that helps?

Thanks for the tip!
By the way, can I import a color palette as an image into KeyShot to eyedrop it or is KeyShot able to color-pick outside its window? ( sorry, I'm away from my PC these days to test this myself)..

You can eye-drop outside the window. You can also import colors that are listed in a cvs file.

Please add color selection by #Hex number.
