First attempt at rendering, Hoping to get some constructive criticism of what I could improve on.

looking good so far! The green material looks good ( cast iron?) the grey material looks abit too matte so could do with abit of selectivity or use a metal in place.

Play around with different HDRI to really add highlights and shadows ( if thats the desired effect you want)

If you want to achieve a clean product shot, then you've done a good job. Everybody will in something here and there to change. E.g. the texture direction on the grey part. Or some imperfections on the unpainted metal parts.
But if your intention is photo realism, then there is a lot to do left. And then some reference photos would help a lot to find the right ideas.

So, if you know what you want, then there will be a way to achieve.

Hi Hawks515.
Looks like you're off to a good start.

As already mentioned, what to improve depends on what kind of look you are going for.
If you can share a few reference images of what you are trying to achieve, I'll be happy to give my thoughts on how to achieve it :)

I would say this is already looking GREAT. There are some lines (tangents of different parts) running together that take a bit of the depth away-could work on adjusting that. The red cap with the gray band looks a little odd to me. The cast metal looks great though. Nice, clean product shot overall!
