Bob A.

My server (Windows Server 2016 Essentials) connected as slave, won't start rendering.
The server is connected and states 24 cores connected.
He does receive and changes his status to rendering, but skipping the preparing state.
If I check the slave status on the machine itself, it says active..

I have no clue why this is happening.
I hope someone can help me fix this, as I have a deadline to tackle.. ;)

Thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear you're having such trouble.
I haven't experienced this myself, but I would make sure you're running the latest version of the Network Rendering software as a starting point.

I assume you've restarted the server itself?

The next thing I would try is running the Network Rendering configuration again, just to reset any thing that might have gotten funked up.
How about space on the server? Are your completed jobs still in the queue or do you delete them as you finish? We have more success with ours running smooth when we're diligent about deleting old jobs, and making sure our server has plenty of hard drive space.

That's all I got, hope you resolve it soon!
