Hi

I'm having major headaches trying to recreate the attached material and wanted to see if anyone can either point me in the right direction or fancied a stab at creating it.  Its a deep red powdercoat with silver metallic flakes.
I've tried the metallic paint options but can't emulate the look, and blows out too easily or just looks washed out or pink instead.
also tried using a standard paint with layered metallic flecks over the top as a label which was better but still lost some of the vibrancy.

anyone?

Thanks

Rich

Hi,
Had a quick stab at it. It's not great but you might be able to tune it a bit...

cadjockey

that's pretty good!  thanks very much for the effort, i'll give it a try now :)

I can't tell based on the material ball example if it's already in there, but may want to add a large, subtle noise bump.

cadjockey

there wasn't one, but adding a procedural bump does really help!  thanks for reminding.
