Hi DaStig,

New to this and haven't modelled in 12 years (ex Maya, Houdini). What is your process for getting AC cars into Keyshot? Do you have to reassign the textures?

Thanks!

@Jimmy,
Thanx for your compliment. The vintage photo effect is done in Gimp, and yeah, it does look nice and so close to reality  8)

@Andy,

To get an Assetto Corsa model into KeyShot, you'll need to convert it to an .obj or .fbx model. I use this tool for that: http://www.mediafire.com/file/i8xoax1ddjif2rx/kn5_converter.zip

The tool converts the .kn5 model from Assetto Corsa into an additional .obj and .fbx model file. Textures are extracted from the .kn5 model and saved in the texture folder of the .kn5 model. All textures and UV-mappings are preserved by the conversion tool. You only need to assign proper materials in KeyShot to all the parts.

Good luck.
