Hi KeyShooters,

I've just tried KeyShot 2.2.29, and was surprised to find there is no Hidden/Unhidden option
on the right click menu at scene tree!
In addition to it, hidden parts is deleted eternally once saved and closed the file!!
In KeyShot 2.1, bip files keep Hidden/Unhidden status...it's natural for me.
In KeyShot 2.2, I need to show all parts to prevent deleting hidden parts.

I'm usually rendering mobile phones, and import both Open/Close status with one obj file.
and want to keep selectable Open/Close status on one bip file.
(...yes, if local moving/rotating is flexible on KeyShot, I don't do such a thing...)

Anyway, KeyShot 2.2's behavior is ridiculous and inconvenient at least, for me :-[

Please do let us know if the checkbox method is acceptable.

I just confirmed the "eternal delete" bug and we'll get that fixed for the final version of 2.2.

The build we posted is a work in progress, and it may be best for you to go back to 2.1 for now while we polish 2.2.

Thanks for posting though!

QuoteCan you use the checkbox to hide / unhide?
Yes, checkbox itself works as same as ~2.1, at least on my WinXP x64 system,
but,
QuotePlease do let us know if the checkbox method is acceptable.
Group operation is disappeared on KeyShot 2.2.29 :'(

Group operation, i.e. highlighting by left-click and shift-left-click on scene tree,
and choose Hidden/Unhidden by right-click, is very convenient for me!!!

I'm relieved to hear it, indeed :)

I'm comfortable with precise(0.00*) moving and parts drugging and highlighting of 2.2 ;)

Thanks in advance,

hey
how do you move a singlepart in keyshot 2.2. I ve tryed but i can move anly the assembly
thank's for your help
best regard

quigley

If the part came in with the assembly file, you can't yet. Move only applies to all the bodies in the imported file.

pmalochet

Thank you
but in this case I do not understand the interest to be able to select each piece of a assembage. Maybe this is to assign a different color for each component?
thank you for your reply

JeffM

Yes, for now the parts are separated so that you can apply unique materials.

pmalochet

It would be very interesting to move the parts separately to make technical explode
