We have products that are available with multiple accessories. Sales
wants separate renderings of each accessory on the base product. In
solid edge I place all the accessories on the base model and then save each
each accessory as a display configuration with a unique name so I can instantly
toggle between what accessory is shown even though all the accessories models
are actually there at once.

In Keyshot displaying each accessory separately on the base model is very tedious
as I have to go through the model tree and carefully select all the sub assemblies
and parts I want to hide to show, make my rendering and then do this over to display
the next accessory on the base model. If you have ten or fifteen accessories each having
many many parts as we do this take a lot time.

This ability to save model display configurations is very common on CAD programs and it
would be great if Keyshot had this as well.

I got similar situations here and I solve this (for now) by opening the main part without accesseries; then import each accesserie individualy.
Now if you show/hide one accesserie, it will show/hide all of them since they'll have the same material.  Now first you assign material/textures.  After that is done, you can unlink each assembly.  After that you can toggle each version on or off instead of toggling each part individually.
It's a bit of a trick realy ... but it gets the job done for me.

@jeffw - In 2.2 you select entire subassemblies that will make it easier. Ultimately we should be able to support configurations directly from the CAD app, and also have this in KeyShot as well.
