Renderings tab

Is there a way to get ridd of this tab ?

I never use it and when I hit the tab by accident, it takes a LOOOOOOOOOONG time to load the content and I can't cancel it !  What a waste of time :p

What's it for anyway ?  And can't it be made such that when hitting esc or such, it stops loading ?

Hi Philippe,

The rendering tab is for showing your existing rendered images. It may refresh the contents if it has changed, but it will cache the result, so it should load instantly. Are you running 2.2.65?

Yes I am .. and as far as I know it loads each time ... will give it a try tomorrow .. might be possible that, since I go to that tab only by mistake, it needs to re-cache after every update of the program ?
