I´ve been working on this design for a while, but I couldn´t share it as it was a work in progress for the client.

It´s basically a HiFi Bluetooth speaker with a big ass 1000W Li Ion battery where you can connect even your fridge during a blackout. (And it allows to be charged via a foldable 100W solar panel!)

More info on www.energiacentral.cl/ce ; it´s in spanish, I know; but there are some cool things there.  :)

I hope you like it!!

This look  great Nicolas! Well done. Thanks for sharing.

I love the solar panel rendering. Lighting, clean image and some smudge (if I'm not mistaken) on the surface of it as well. Nice.

+1 on that panel. That subtle smudging looks awesome. Never easy to do white studio renders either, but you pulled that off greatly!

Although the hard black plastic looks gorgeous in image 3, there is some banding issues in the background of the last two. I often succeed in solving that nuisance by doing a switch to 16bit in  photoshop, giving it a 1-2% noise and then reblurring it. Sometimes i also leave it with the noise :) Anyway, that's knitpicking.

Thanks guys! Much appreciated!

Yeah that banding tends to happen, I´ll try your technique the next time, It really annoys me when it comes to radial gradients  >:( , but now I know it´s an easy fix!

It certainly is. Well, simply by working with gradients in 16 bit mode tends to work a bit better, so that might be all you need :)

And keep in mind, while those bands may not exist in your data, they show up on the monitor due to limitations of the screen you're looking at. Not that that solves the problem, but something good to know.

I haven't thought about that. Good to know!
