  • Windows 10
  • KeyShot 7.1
  • Keyshot7_creo2_64_plugin1.0
  • CREO2, build M210

Steps to take to reproduce the problem:

When file is opened, the render button can be pressed and it will render.

If you zoom in slightly, you can still hit the render button...

However, if you zoom in a little more past a certain point, the render button will no longer work and the file can't be rendered.

Anyone experienced anything similar?

Referenced this post originally: https://www.keyshot.com/forum/index.php?topic=19635.0 but the problem is not exactly the same, and updating to 7.1 didn't fix the issue.

When you zoom in past a certain point can you look at the cameras and see if any of them show un-saved if do they do can you save the state? Also if you want to zoom in and out can you try using the free camera and see if it will allow you to render. The pop up asking you about the wanting to render the un-saved camera state could just not be showing up.

Yes, this was the problem. Thank you Kiba.

The prompt to use the "unsaved" camera does not come up. You have to manually go and save the camera for the render to occur.

Can anyone working for Keyshot comment on this about if this is a bug or how to make the prompt appear? We checked if the prompt window is hidden somewhere but there was nothing, it just never comes up. It only happens to 1 of my colleagues.

We have not seen that the dialog box prompting the user about an unsaved camera state is hidden behind any other windows, but we keep investigating.

Ok, next time it happens we will try and record and catalog how to reproduce. Thanks!
