If i have a part with more one configuration and in an assembly there are several instances of this same part each in different configuration, big mess when i import in Keyshot. Only one instance is imported, others simply ignored. I have to rename each part in Solidworks, save in different external files, open each and cancel other configurations. Same big problem with Toolbox hardware. Is that a bug?  Is it fixed in KS7?

Hi,

Can you share your SOLIDWORKS assembly with us?
It would be great if we could have a look at your particular case.
Please send to <dries at luxion dot com> via https://keyshot.wetransfer.com/.

Which versions of SOLIDWORKS and KeyShot are you running? Are you using the plugin?

keyshot: 6.2 stand alone, not plugin
solidworks: 2017 sp2

I make a new simple model. here it is https://we.tl/406S29zYOS
in solidworks serveral configuration
in keyshot only one imported

I can reproduce this issue when importing in KeyShot 6.
I then imported in KeyShot 7 using the same import settings and the model comes in perfectly, with all configurations of all instances.

When using the plugin, configurations of parts import fine in KeyShot 6 though. If you rely heavily on configurations, then perhaps the plugin is your best option, until you upgrade to KeyShot 7. :)

Also, the latest version of KeyShot 6 is 6.3.
You can download the installer here.
