please see screen shot from rhino..

is there a way to display the dimension in a KS render?

i think there are 3 ways,
1) you may extrude the dimension from 2d to 3d,
2) you may prepare the dimension as png and you can use it on a surface as layout on KS.
3) Forget step 1 and 2, take render how you want, then type the dimension on photoshop.

1 would be best but dont think you can extrude dimension in rhino?

rfollett, I think if you "explode" the dimension in Rhino it becomes individual elements that can be extruded (or become a planar surface). You may have to make a rectangle out of the thin leader lines, but other than that it shouldn't be a problem

Yes, he's right.  You need to explode your dimension.  Then those will turn into curves and when you join the curves, you can extrude all of them normally.  But for the arrow mark, i think it will need a thickness to show itself on the KS.
