Hello all!

This is my first post, I'm currently learning Keyshot and really enjoying it so far. Apologies if this has been covered off in a separate topic I'm not sure if I'm searching under the right topic.

I'm from a packing background and designers are often using a mixture of foils, gloss and matte finishes. I'm not sure how to apply these different types of finishes to a single label.

Using a typical Monster can design as an example set up for print as follows:

The "label" would be the black background with the green M and monster title under it.
The Black area would be (for example) Matte
The M would be a Green foil with a naturally gloss finish.
The Monster Title would also be in gloss.

In my Adobe Illustrator mind everything would be layered and materials added to each layer but I cannot translate this into how Keyshot functions.

Any advice would be really helpful, once I know this the sky's the limit! (Hopefully!)

Thanks!

Hi 3star.

Check out this webinar at 42:00 - I think it shows how to do exactly what you are asking for.
