psd 16 bit in animation not possible

Hi

We looked forward having 16 bit files as output.
After testing we noticed that still images output correctly to this format. However when rendering an animation with still frames to 16 bit psd.
Keyshot saves this to jpeg and we are unable to open this file.
But when you rename the extension to .psd the files open correctly.

I have been able to reproduce this on my end.

A bug has been filed in our system and the responsible developer is informed.
As you write changing the file extension to .psd fixes the files.
