A customer requires pictures as in a Ikea manual.

I thought I could use toon with black outline for this but the influence of the contour angle makes the result inconsistent for this purpose. The best would be to have similar lines on all contours without the influence of the angle.
Enclosed some examples where I played with the contour angle.
Is there another material which I could use?
Another affordable software (Creo Illustrator, and Solidworks Composer are probably great but cost more than 5K€)?

The challenge here is, how do you define a 'contour' when you're working with a mesh of polygons? I think this is a case where it seems simple, but actually is very difficult to execute in KeyShot.

You could try a different method using a combination of a using flat materials and the "find edges" filter in Photoshop. You could also try using a high resolution render with the toon material, importing into illustrator, live tracing, then selecting all and making same stroke weight.

those are a few methods you could try :)
