Making an object non renderable

How do I make an object non renderable in the meaning i only want to see lightning and reflections on the object in the render, while the object itself is hidden?

Help would be appreciated i searched everywhere for the answer but seems no one asked yet.

Oh and then putting it on screen blending option, okay, i thought there was a option for it.
