Francois,
Here is a material I just made simulating flake in paint. The outer red has the flake, the inside red is regular paint. Is this what your looking for ?
The key to this is having a really nice HDRI.
Let me know if you need any more details.

No,

here is what I can have with actual Keyshot (I tried textures, many materials, everytghing possible) :

Now, here is what I would like to begin to work on :

(I did some post on photoshop, but "flakes" are horrible).

Even textures used on metalic paint are not "catching" the light, as a specular map (but I heard that there will be specular maps on K3...)

Look, here is the result I'm caiting for in real : flakes like to be glitters, following points of light (bigger than only "rugosity")...

Here is another I did for ya. This is darn close to what your looking for. IMHO

Indeed, it's close... Thank you  :)

But look what I want to do is something stronger, like this :

(I tried with textures of noise and glitters, but the result was not efficient)

The last exemple is very strong, but it will make you understand what I mean...

Nice looking rendering....

Its not a M1....M1 was in the late 70s

JKERSH, I'm not stupid. Please keep your comments.

He just means M1 is the BMW supercar from the late 70's

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_M1

The new car is the BMW 1 M :)
