I love this software, its very intuitive and would save hours of r&d lighting...

.. will you be providing a streamlined approach for maya or 3dsMax? for the sake of adding a your own camera (with animation) into a scene?

I would be very useful to us.  ;D

I agree! This would be very useful.  ;D

Are you talking about going form Maya to KeyShot?

Zander85

Yeah I think Max would like to set up his camera in Maya or Max, animate it and save it as an FBX file and then open it back up with keyshot and have the animation all saved. (At least that is what I was looking for).

That will be possible ion KeyShot 3 (as far as animation goes) using FBX. Today, KeyShot will recognize geometry and camera in the FBX file.

very cool I will give it a shot. When will Key Shot 3 be available?

lazzz

Interesting!  I didn't see the fbx option... ill check it out as well... adding to your reply Thomas, being able to add animation to an fbx camera would be awesome, key shot would be hard to beat if it had that option..

As I said - this will be part of KeyShot 3, scheduled to be released in October. If you have an example that you can share so we can test, please send it to me!

Thanks,

Thomas
