Hi, can I save my work as drafts? Thank you!

save the final document as a totally new file so there are no corruptions.

This is how I do it. there is no internal incrememntal save feature in KS built in.

That's how I recommend doing it ALWAYS in keyshot. It only takes keyshot corrupting a file a couple times for your to do it that way.
Not only that, but you should also close the file and open it again periodically to be sure that isn't happening. Often times I have issues, keyshot doesn't tell me as it's happening. Then I realize the last 7 saves had some corruption issue. If it's a really long term project, I'd go back and do the work again. Usually it's something due Tomorrow though, so I end up just having to ignore it. And that's usually a case where I had to do something like import a piece of another keyshot file, so there are too many contributing factors to know the cause. Was something bad already? Was it keyshot? Who knows. Better safe than sorry.
And if you save your files in a cloud backup location as well, you may even get revisions of files if you save over, so long as it had time to upload between saves. (This does Not work on all software, for instance SolidWorks won't upload to the cloud if the file is open so you have to close the file periodically to have it upload to the servers)

This is a good practice for most any software though.
It's also a good idea to use a new name for any major adjustment. Having a terrible time so you decide to scrap all your lighting and start that over? That's a sad day, but it happens. So start with a new name, or add a suffix to the file so you know where you shifted gears.

There have been times where KS files get corrupt and the only way to save it was to import the project into a new file. Sometimes that would work, sometimes not.

Cinema 4D has a built in save incremental button, does exactly what I showed above. Lifesaver. You can have it do it automatically or when you hit the button. it will keep the last 5 iterations. That sort of system would be nice.

I always glossed over this in the preferences but it may be useful to you: https://manual.keyshot.com/manual/models-tab/revision-manager/
