Yellow Chair Caustics KS10.2

Hey guys!


I wanted to test out the new caustics algorithm, so I chucked a solid glass pane to the window of a scene I prepared for a KeyShot course, turned the caustics on and let it render. It's mind-blowing!


I've also uploaded the clay version, I layered it on top of the original in post to have more defined highlights on the chair.

I re-rendered it at higher res, something about the colour grading wasn't completely there also. Which one do you like better?

Personally like the updated version here, feels more cohesive with the tonal shift. Also a little more warm and inviting, like that chair is just ready for me to bask in the sunlight.
