The new sketches feature is nice. It would be very handy if a user can ...
... change color of the pen.
... use a preset of simple shapes like arrows, lines and circles
... stick the sketch to tho object (projected sketch)


What are the wishes of other KeyVR users?

Hi there, thanks for the feedback, glad you like the sketch tool so far.

There is a workaround for changing the color. Open a KeyVR Connect session! Then you can change your user color by clicking on your icon in the user list and picking a new color from the color picker that opens up. This works because we use the color to differentiate sketches from multiple people in a shared session.
Adding a straight line tool and shapes makes a lot of sense, we are planning to flesh this out in the next release.
You can already sketch directly on the surface of objects! When you move your brush close to a surface, a little line will be drawn between your fingertip and the surface. With this, you can project your sketches!

In a nutshell, we want to improve on the sketch tool with multiple colors, brush widths, straight lines and shapes, and even an undo button - but we need to re-design our VR interface before we can do so. There is only so much that can fit into the current list of options!

Yes, that works fine. But if you move the object, the sketch floats at the org location.
