Hi,

Here is a render of a very quickly set up scene with a low surface temperature radiator.
What you see is effectively the backside of the radiator  ;).

bravo!

your whites are very successful.

White is a VERY plain paint though  ;D.
But I agree that it works very well for this particular scene.

Does this work on these as well ?

Yes the white is working good!!..i think the left top black plastic material is not good as white material..it's seem not realist..
This is mine opinion..... ;)

No, the case is designed to hold steel panel radiators only.
You are running these cast iron radiators on a high temperature heating system? Little kids jumping arund and touching things?  ;D

You're right!
I think this rendering much better resembles the plastic caps in reality.
The plastic has a very rough texture to it.

The 2nd rendering is the termostatic head that fits underneath the plastic caps
