under the camera animation, there's only a few methods of interaction.... how about adding a DOF changing animation effect?
for example, it would start focused in the front, then slowly move the focus away to the back, (it can have the same ease-in, ease-out options as the cameras)
and I would love to see another category of animations for environment.
it could include:
1.brightness/contrast (where you could for example turn down the lights and see the shiny objects and how different they would look in the dark compared to the bright environment)
2. environment rotation, there has been lots of time that i wanted the model to stay where it was and just have the environment rotate to show the reflection and surfaces nicely. (it would work best with backplate image though) the trick I used to get this working was rotating the objects, and rotating the camera at the same time to simulate the environment turning around the object. but it would be really nice to have it built in.
I see lots of potentials in the animation feature.

+1

also animating changes in camera width / perspective would be nice (again with ease in/out)
