Hi all;
Another example of my "real" work, this for Endologix, Inc., a long time client.  It's called the Ventana Fenestrated Stent Graft System, for the endovascular repair of juxtarenal and pararenal aortic aneurysms.  The internal mechanism is very complicated, and required a lot of design team effort to accomplish.  Of course, it's a very complex surgical procedure.  Someday I may show some sectionals.

Nice modelling and render Bill. What does it do , what are all the spiky parts for?

The device installs (implants) a stent graft in the aeorta to repair lesions.  Each of the "spiky" things are actually the "handles" of tools that are manipulated by two cardiovascular surgeons, working as a team.  A challenge with this type of product design is that they typically never look down at the device, but rather watch what they are doing on a radioscope screen above the patient.  So the operation, features and tools must be instantly identifiable by feel and experience.
