Ground Material Alpha Transparency

I love the new ground material option; I render things mounted to surfaces fairly often and it's always a pain to try and match the material color to the background.

That said, it might be nice to preserve shadows and reflections cast onto the ground material in the alpha channel. This would make it easy to change the background color without re-rendering the scene.
