I would suggest tweaking the valve covers on the engine since the actual testa rossa's valve covers weren't shiny and actually had more of a sand cast feel to them

Thanks matey, yeah I should hoik the rougness up a bit, I just cant bring myself work on it again - I feel that's been done n dusted. Thank you for the pic though - its a beautiful engine and no mistake. Had I have had this pic when I was working, I would've been more accurate

no problemo, I'm a bit of a car nut so the little details tend to stick out for me. That and I have a model of the Testa Rossa that i'm working on as well. If you do decide to work on it again, here's a material I made for those valve covers. Actually that material works quite nice on any Ferrari engine.
