Second shot is a fantastic scene! Love the floor boards, love the neon, love stone wall, love the chicken wire..... Reminds me of 'Bobs Country Bunker' from the Blues Brothers movie for some reason (probably because I watched it on tv a few days ago)

Anyway, I think a good, imaginative backdrop/scene like this really helps bring character 'animation' out.
