When I open up keyshot, all I see in the realtime window is black.
When I make a render, the scene is rendered as it should be.
When I screenshot however, all I get is a black rectangle.

Ive already tried:
- Updated all graphics drivers to latest versions
- Made sure that all resource folders match up (they have the resources in them)
- Tried disabling and enabling 'graphics effects'

None of these have made even the slightest change :(.
If anyone could suggest how to fix this problem, your help would be greatly appreciated :)

Did this just start happening (have you been able to use any version of KS4 without a black screen before)? What OS are you using?

IH8STEAM

I'm using Windows 7 64 bit.
I only just started using Keyshot 4.
Before this, I used Keyshot 2 and I had no problems at all.

Did you use the full installer when you installed KeyShot 4?

IH8STEAM

I'm fairly certain I did.
Should I try reinstalling?

guest84672

I would first do a complete uninstall, and then reinstall KeyShot 4 using the full installer, not the update installer.

IH8STEAM

I have just done an uninstall and a reinstall using the full installer.
Launched again, still black screen. :(

I have forwarded to support, they will be in touch.

I assume this is when you start it, correct, not after you import a file?

Have you played with maximizing/minimizing/adjust KS window size? Also, try hitting "H" on the keyboard to see if anything pops up on the screen in KS.

Thank you incredibly! :)
It shows some statistics like FPS at the top left, and now it is no longer black.
Thank you Thomas as well for all of your time spent on this. :)
I'm now going to sleep and tommorow I will attempt some high quality renders. :)

2.  Click Save Changes.
